I use to do this all the time when my kids were small. I would make a week worth of sandwiches (bologna and cheese, ham and cheese etc.) cut them in half put them in the bag and freeze them on Sunday night. Then before they went to school in the morning I would just throw their lunch together. Easy peasy. They never complained.

Getting air out of zip lock bags is super easy with a straw!!!! I do it when I make my pierogi's and it pulls all the air out so the pierogi's don't move an inch and lay perfectly flat. Close the ziplock bag almost completely, slip in a Mc'ee D's straw....you know the bigger ones, not a coffee stirrer or you will get light headed - Then suck until all the air is out. Slip out the straw while pinching closed the rest of the lock! Voila! It is sealed air tight....unless you have a hole in the bag somewhere. :}

Stephanie, I am sorry it took me a while to respond. I have been on vacation. I think the scented oils worked great!! My favorite is the linen scent. I love the smell of feels naptha but The scent is gone by the time the clothes come out of the dryer. I used about 40 drops of the oil and can still smell it after drying. Let me know how it goes!
